2014 has been awesome for loads of reasons. I got married, got a lovely new job, travelled to New York, Florence, Brussels, Paris and places all around the UK. I got amazing feedback from literary agents about my book and am hopeful now that I’m going to land one in 2015.
It’s also been an ace year for my blog. I started this little blog with its first couple of posts in 2013 and I wasn’t really sure what I was doing with it. Once I’d got a clear vision about what I wanted from it I was able to focus on my Parisian mysteries and stories about the city. In 2013 my blog had 115 views. In 2014 it had over 3,000.
I know it’s not setting the internet ablaze any time soon but it feels like a big achievement to me and along the way I’ve got to know some great people through wordpress whose posts I look forward to reading every day.
So, without further ado, here are my three writing ambitions for 2015:
1. Secure an agent for my book
2. Finish the first draft of book 2
3. Write a blog post every week
You know, three little things… Ha!
What are your goals for 2015? Whatever they are I wish you every success and happiness for the year to come.
