How to be amazing at procrastination in 5 easy steps

procastination

Today I have been so great at procrastinating I thought I’d tell you how I did it.

1. Find a new series of something on Netflix.

For me, it was Blacklist, an American crime drama that’s not quite as good as Alias but definitely a bit better than Bones. Watch three episodes.

2. Find an old series of something on Netflix.

If you really want to feel as though your life is rushing past you, slipping through your fingertips as you lie on your couch and do nothing, watch three episodes of season five of Bones. You know it’s not as good as Blacklist so, why are you doing it? Because it’s Saturday. Because you can.

3. Post a status on Facebook.

Tell all your friends and family how lazy you have been. They’ll love it. You’ll get some likes and can chat to them in the comments about the fact that they’ve been lazy too (but don’t admit to the three episodes of Bones, they’ll think you’re crazy).

4. Find a new Spotify playlist.

Drag your lazy behind off the sofa and make your way to your desk. Open up your computer and begin to wri- “WAIT! I CAN’T POSSIBLY WRITE WITH THIS HORRIBLE MUSIC IN THE BACKGROUND.” Spend at least thirty minutes in the ‘Discover’ section of Spotify until you find a nice acoustic playlist – plenty of guitar. No drums.

5. Write a blog about your incredible procrastination.

Ta daaa…
